Abundant space for fun! The crèche consists of Nursery 1, Nursery 2, Puppies, Swallows and Bees. We can take babies from 1 month old. Children are placed in the various groups according to age and development and will move up to a different group once they have reached the appropriate age or development stage. Ages given in our breakdown of the classes are merely a guideline, as it changes depending on need.

The emphasis in the crèche falls on care, physical and social development with the academic program starting from Nursery 1 (See Nursery 1 heading below).

Our aim is to ensure that all our children are happy and are receiving individual attention according to their needs. Some children develop faster than others. We try and meet all needs.
Nursery 1
Nursery 1This is the nursery for the youngest babies and the age group is normally between 1 month and 12 months.
Nursery 2
Nursery 2This nursery is for the older babies that can walk or are about to walk and is normally for the babies between the ages of 12+ months and 18 months. If they are older while still in this nursery, potty training will start once they are approximately18 months old.
PuppiesThe Puppies are all potty trainers and are generally between the ages of 18+ months and 2years.
SwallowsThe Swallows are between the ages of 2 and 2½ years and will also be potty trained if necessary.
Bees 1 & 2
Bees 1 and 2The Bees are the oldest group of the toddler section and they are approximately 2½ to 3 years old. Most children in this group are potty trained. There are one or two groups of Bees, depending on the need.

Registrations for 2019 are still open and remain open right throughout the year.
There is full or casual care available and you can also choose between half day/school day or full day care, which includes aftercare. We are open during the school holidays and only close for approximately three and a half weeks over the December school holidays.
There is also CASUAL HOLIDAY CARE for primary school children for any local, national or international children.

To register you need to fill in the preliminary application form on the site and e-mail/fax it to us (see contacts) or phone us to come and view the facilities.

All parents please note that our pre-primary school is for children between the ages of 4 and 6 years old (turning 4-6 years old that year) and the crèche/nursery school is for babies and todlers from 1 month to 3 years of age.

We are an Independent Early Childhood Development Centre with a CRECHE and PRE-PRIMARY SCHOOL, which includes superb Gr R classes (registered with the Education Department). Our Gr R‘s follow the CAPS curriculum as prescribed by the Department of Education and our younger children follow the NELDS curriculum. Our aim is to make our children as confident and as academically prepared for Primary School as possible.
Our Gr R class(es) are well renowned and our graduates have made us very proud in the past as so many of them attend the best primary schools not only in the area and in the adjoining areas, but much further afield and many of them excel at primary school level. We will continue to strive for excellence.

As a matter of interest, which primary school your child will attend when he or she starts Gr 1, does not depend on which pre-primary school your child went to, it depends on where you live or where you work, as public primary schools have to mainly enrol children who live in the area around their schools first.
They can, however, admit a certain number of children from outside these areas, which is why most of our Gr R graduates, who have been well-prepared, often can and do attend the primary schools of their choice, in spite of where they live.
Our principal will be happy to advise you in this regard should you require further information.

Gr R.
If your child is turning 6 yrs old this year, please note that your child has to go to Gr 1 next year and has to be school ready and preferably has to be in a Gr R class in their 6th year, as Gr R is the first year of schooling, not Gr 1 anymore. This is when the Foundation Phase, Grade R to Grade 3 and therefore the CAPS curriculum, starts. We also enrol children turning 5 yrs old between 1 Jan and 30 June-- the year they turn 5 yrs old-- in a Gr R class, as they are allowed to be in a Gr R class by law. Please contact us for more information.

If you wish to come and view the facilities or want to enrol your child or if you wish to discuss anything not clear or have any other queries, please do not hesitate to give us a call or come and see us.
We look forward to meeting you!
